My poem...

                             Friends

It was my first time riding a plane,

The time that I will say goodbye to my friends,

We are moving to a new place,

a place where my old friends are not there anymore.

While in the plane the solitude that I feel,

 and the sadness I felt while saying goodbye to my old friends.

In the plane, I feel like my head is spinning in circles,

I check my pulse on my wrist, my heartbeat is fast!!

I feel sick, and nearly throw up, I slept for hours, then I woke up,

the sickness is gone, I realized that we were getting close to our destination.

We finally reach our destination, and my new home,

 where my old friends are not there anymore,

 we got out at the airport’s door,

 the weather in the new country is so cold.

I look up to the sky and think of my old friends,

I miss them already,

but I have self acceptance to realize that this is the  way it is,

and I will find new friends,

 I made a promise to myself,

 that someday I will come back home 

and see you all again,

Hello everyone, here is my own opinion about Tomorrow when the war began, whether the book is better than the movie or the movie is better than the book.

      My favourite character in the story is Homer because he is funny sometimes and his personality change from the beginning to the present. He  became more responsible and he can be a leader sometimes making good decisions. In the beginning  of the book Homer was a great prankster and he always getting into trouble but in the end he became more responsible.

 
     So we made a Kahoot about the story but unfortunately we can't share it because of the law restrictions. This is frustrating because we put lot of work into the questions and now we cant show it.
